I launched my Press On Nail Business (Stay Qlassy) in September 2021. With my small business on the side, I was studying full-time for my Bachelors and working as a full-time inbound caller for Medicare. October 2019 ... I started doing chic admin tasks, Facebook content writing, and video editing for a family friend's property consulting company. Two years later when Stay Qlassy blossomed and my business grew, so did my creative skills and knowledge. It didn't take long before I realised how strong of a tool social media, branding, and websites were to build a strong online presence and I learned how to utilise them to acquire new clients. Knowing how overwhelming admin tasks can get, I began to offer that service too. It was all trial and error. I was constantly experimenting with various tools, apps, and platforms, and was annoyingly indecisive on my branding kit guidelines from concept to completion. It was such an overwhelmingly tedious yet crucial step as a business owner but without the sleepless nights and countless hours of improving my skills, I wouldn't be where I am today. During my time at uni, I learnt how to use Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Davinci (FCPX post-uni). Early 2022... Stay Qreative began to take shape as I completed minor graphic designs and social media business content on Airtasker. By July 2022, I acquired my first ongoing social media client whom I still work with ‘til this very day. 1 week later, I had my second client. Less than 2 weeks later, I had my third. It sounds like it took off from day one but that wasn't the case - it was an extremely slow start. I was charging low rates and working more than I earned. Many Airtasks were one-off projects or short-term clients, but it didn't bother me as I was more focused on my Press On Nail Business. In December 2022,.. I enrolled in self-paced lash, waxing, and eyebrow courses. I never took on clients except family members but I'm happy knowing I've put my certification to good use, even if it's not frequent. ​ Now, I am devoted to my creative agency, however, Stay Qlassy products are still actively running.
